SHORT DESCRIPTION
Karakorum city, which once served as the capital of Mongolian Empire and an essential station of the Silk Road, has much more to share than its current physical appearance. Mongolian largest and the historically most significant religious and cultural center – Erdenezuu monastery – is operating as a museum there. Some historical artifacts can be found on the way to Ogii Lake, which is home to a different species of birds and fishes.

A Chinese, English or Russian speaking Mongolian guide will accompany the group at all times. The guide will be a native Mongolian person with great local knowledge who can deal with any requests and ensure that your holiday to become one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life.
TRANSPORT
This trip you have a two choice. First one is a highest level, latest model, air-conditioned private 4WD vehicles for the maximum comfort on your touring days. And second choice is Russian 4x4 Van. Also with 20 years’ experience drives.
MEALS
In Mongolia, you will be dining at fine American, European and Asian cuisine restaurants. Mutton, beef, rice and noodles form the basis of the Mongolian diet, so your meals will be based around this. However, the trail rations may include vegetables, eggs, peanut butter, cheese and sometimes yak! On some days there will be lunchboxes from our cook.
PERSONAL THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU
Warm thin layers of clothing are the best such as bring a rain jacket, gloves and hiking booth. Don’t forgot first aid kit (medicine for headache, cold, diarrhea, runny nose; bandages; any medicine prescribed for you). All your camera equipment.

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 - Ulaanbaatar capital city of Mongolia

Pick you up our driver and guide from Chinggis Khan international airport. Drive to Your hotel. Visit local outdoor market /bazaar/, Gandan Monastery and Mongolia national museum. Evening Leisure day in Ulaanbaatar city. Over night at Hotel.

Day 2 - Karakorum, Erdene Zuu via Elsen Tasarkhai

Morning continues drive to Karakorum and Erdenezuu monastery. Karakorum is the ancient capital of Chingis Khaan’s Mongolia. The Monastery was built in 1586 and is surrounded by a massive 400m x 400m wall. Only a few temples remain standing after the communist purges. In previous times the grounds held over 60 temples with 10,000 monks using them for their daily worship.

Day 3 - Kushuu Tsaidam, Ugii lake

Drive to famous Khusuu Tsaidam, a Turkic inscribed monument of the Turkic State (6th – 8th Centuries A.D). The inscription was written by the grandson of Kultegin and devoted to the Bilge khan of Turkic Empire and his brother Kultegin in 732. Arrive at Ogii lake, this amazing lake has 27 km sq with average depth 7m. Delicate sand, whetstone coast and soft wave offer fantastic opportunity for bird watching, boating, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Dinner will be Mongolian barbecue Khorkhog. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Day 4 - Khustai Nuruu national park

Drive to Hustai National Park which is the site of re-introduction scheme of Przewalski’s horse, by Mongolian’s called Tahki. It became extinct in the wild in the 1960’s, and since 1992 has been successfully re – introduced to Hustai and other parts of Mongolia, from zoos around the world. Arrive at Hustai National Park, and leisure hiking in the surrounding mountains while you searching to see wild horse Takhi. Continue our way to Nomad family, which they live just outside National Park. Arrive at nomad family, meet the family members, then rest of the day you will spend to learn and to experience nomad people’s daily lifestyle and duties, including milking cows and sheeps, bringing the herds from pasture, producing dairy products, helping & cooking Mongolian authentic dish with help of hostess etc. Also, we will do some horse riding through the breathtakingly beautiful areas and our horse riding activity suitable from beginners to advanced riders. Stay overnight in the separate Nomad family Ger.

Day 5 - Ulaanbaatar city capital city of Mongolia

Today, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar for 360 kms by paved road. Arrive at Ulaanbaatar, and you will be transferred to your accommodation. End of tour.

Day 6 - Home sweet home
