Day 2 - Elsen Tasarkhai sand dune, Khugnu Khan national park

Embark on a scenic drive to Mount Khugnu Khan National Park. As you approach the mountain, you'll discover a ger camp situated in front of this picturesque blend of forested landscapes and rocky terrain. The mountain itself harbors a diverse range of wildlife, including numerous birds, deer, and gazelle. The afternoon is yours to explore freely, offering opportunities for activities like hiking in the mountains or riding to the Elsen Tasarkha (Piece of Sand) sand-dunes on the adjacent steppe. Additionally, you can uncover the history of two nearby ruined monasteries. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at the ger camp.

Day 3 - Karakorum city & Tsenkher hot spring

Embark on a morning journey to Karakorum and explore Erdenezuu Monastery. Karakorum, the ancient capital of Chingis Khaan's Mongolia, boasts a rich history. The monastery, constructed in 1586, is encircled by a massive 400m x 400m wall. Although only a few temples have withstood the effects of communist purges, this site once hosted over 60 temples with 10,000 monks engaging in daily worship. Following your exploration, continue the drive to Tsenkher Hot Spring. Enjoy a leisurely evening, indulging in a hot bath with the spring's therapeutic waters. Day 4 - Tsenkher Hot spring

Day 5 - Ugii lake, Khushuu Tsaidam and Karakorum city

This reserve serves as a sanctuary for the reintroduction of wild Przewalski horses, allowing you to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Engage in a guided tour through the picturesque mountains, gaining insights into the horse preservation project.
